Well we have lost yet another.
Patrick Swayze is gone after a short 57 years on this earth.
He was a man who graced our television screens as many different characters but a few that stand out for me are,
Dalton in Roadhouse,1989
"It's my way or the Highway"
Sam Wheat in Ghost
Bohdi in Point Break, Jed in Red Dawn, Darrel Curtis in The Outsiders but more importantly he was the one and only Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing.
Dirty Dancing was and still is my ALL TIME favorite movie. Melissa and I could most likely narrate the entire movie and that is no exaggeration. My dad used to do the lift with us in the living room, come to think of it the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack was the first CD the Henry Household owned. We also used to know all the dance moves, probably still do.
So being that Youtube won't allow me to post videos of Dirty Dancing I will give you a few to watch and enjoy.

A fellow fan and best friend of mine Maureen was a fan of him as well and has this to say:
"Patrick Swayze, was more to me then being best known as Johnny Castle, but he was a man that showed great strength and courage in his last days of a tough battle. He gave fellow cancer patients hope and a sense of determination. He fought the fight with great pride, but unfortunately he had nothing left to give. I truly believe he may now rest his eyes a little easier knowing he really did have, the time of his life. One day there will be a cure, and the unknown roots of its evilness will be vanished forever."
R.I.P. Patrick Swayze
